The Coravin Timeless Six+ is the flagship of the Timeless line. It pours still wine without removing the cork: a thin needle passes through the cork, wine flows out, and pure argon fills the space left behind. When the needle is withdrawn, the cork reseals, and the maker states the remaining wine keeps tasting just opened, even years later.
The practical effect is a change in cellar discipline. A collector can open a vertical across several vintages without committing to finishing every bottle, taste a young wine's development over months, or pour one glass from a bottle that would otherwise demand a dinner party. The system is offered in three finishes: Silver, Piano Black and Burgundy.
It is a current product on the official site, listed at USD 379.00 at coravin.com. Used thoughtfully, it is less a gadget than a change in how a collection gets drunk.
